Inspiration Taken From Robert Brownjohn

Here is a typographic image taken from rawtype.com. I feel that this work could have been influenced by Robert Brownjohns work because of how its all in uppercase letters. In most of Robert Brownjohns photographs from the Street Level Series the signage he captured were in uppercase letter form, they are space out and straight like the typographics in this image which is why i feel this piece of work was influenced by Robert Brownjohns. This typographic piece is a little rude but the design of it is really interesting because of the 3D look it has. It make it look bold which stands out which will be a great idea i could use in my final piece

.
Here is a photograph taken from London Typographica. This is a great photograph that has an obvious influence taken from Robert Brownjohns work. There is one photograph from the Street Level Series captured that looks just like this. Paint on the wall that is wearing off, this is definitely a piece that has been influenced by Robert Brownjohn. I feel that this image has a great effect, not as great as Robert Brownjohns because of the angle his was captured at however its clear and still has a worn effect that looks attractive.

Here is another photograph taken from rawtype.com. Certain ways this photograph has been taken suggests this work has been influenced by Robert Brownjohns work. Firstly, the angle the type was captured at looks like its not straight and in the center like some of the signage captured by Robert Brownjohn. And secondly the angle the type was captured at caused some of the letters to be missing from the photograph and also some surroundings being shown which is what was in one of Robert Brownjohns Street Level Series photographs. I feel that this piece of work is great as it shows both aspects that i feel makes the photograph look more unique. This is taking the photograph at an angle that will give a different outlook which looks creative.
