My Chosen Photographs

These are my 12 chosen images that once manipulated in Photoshop, will be added to my final calendar design.
I chose this photograph to be in my final design because I felt that having the bush in the back gives it a great look. When I reach the manipulation stage I feel the effect of the bush would look really interesting once this photograph gets turned into black and white. Also I feel that it would look great with colour added to the small type.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because I really like the way this image was taken, its bright and has great looking aspects in the photograph such as the leafless bush which indicates the weather and shows the type of month clearly. When I reach the manipulation stage I feel the photograph would look attractive if I added colour to part of the bush as it would look different.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the worn effect displayed on the lettering. I also like the angle it has been taken at which shows some packaging in the photograph which adds to the effect of making the photograph look interesting. When I reach the manipulation stage I feel the photograph should stand out as the lettering is bold and quite large.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the glow that streams off the signage. I also like that it has a bright outline colour which could be left once turning the photograph into black and white which would make it stand out. When I reach the manipulation stage I feel that this image would look effective as there are many letters to manipulate and also great colour that could be used to its advantage.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the angle the photograph has been taken at. Capturing a lot of the wall i feel gave this photograph and interesting and creative look. Also the old rust from the lap post the signage is on gives the photograph a better effect. When i reach the manipulation stage i feel that it may be difficult to edit because of the skinny lettering however i feel it would look great as there is a illustration of a CCTV camera that can be coloured with the paint bucket tool.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the creativity of how its presented and also what i can do to it when i reach the manipulation stage. The way the letters are covering the car door i feel looks really attractive and unique. Its also different which helps make it eye-catching. When i reach the manipulation stage i feel that adding colour to these thick letters will really make this photograph stand out.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the the lettering of the signage looks attractive. I also chose this photograph because of what the signage says. I was required to take photographs around the Dunstable area and this signage clearly shows this. When i reach the manipulation stage i feel that adding a little colour to these grand letters would look great as they would stand out because of the thickness.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because i like the angle and the way the signage has been captured. There are objects in the way of the signage which gives the photograph a great and creative effect that really makes this look unique. I also chose this photograph because there are many signs displayed which is an advantage as this is what i am supposed to be capturing. When i reach the manipulation stage i could transform it into black and white and add colour to parts such as the tape, signage and the metal caging.

I chose this photograph to be in my final deign because i felt it has some effective aspects. One being the old look it has which really would come out once manipulated and make it look unique. I also like the type as in some parts it looks like is wearing off which i feel looks great. One more thing i like is the dirt that covers this signage. It gives it an effect that looks different and when manipulated i feel it would look really effective. When i reach the manipulation stage i could add colour to the text to make it look even more effective.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because of the scratch marks and bright colour that comes from this letterbox. This i really liked because i feel its different and also stands out. I also like the way i captured the signage; the camera tilting down was influence taken from Robert Brownjohns Street Level work which is another reason why i chose this photograph. When i reach the manipulation stage i feel that this photograph could be used to eye catch while also looking great and effective because it has a bright colour coming from it and also detailed scratched marks.

I chose this photograph to be in my final design because i like the way the signage was captured. Looking down at the signage was influence taken by Robert Brownjohns Street Level work. The lettering is also clear and thick which i felt would be great to edit when it comes to the manipulation stage. When i reach the manipulation stage the bright colour could be used to help this photograph stand out and also the thick text could have colour which would make it look a lot better.

I chose this photograph because i felt the way the lettering looks is different but creative and unique as the signage is beveled. I also like the way the signage has been captured as this is also different and relates well with Robert Brownjohns Street Level work. When i reach the manipulation stage i could change the photograph to black and white so you can see the letters more clearly.
